Evolve Pilates is a boutique Pilates and fitness studio devoted to helping others evolve by embracing mindful movement. Pilates is a practice that connects us to the present moment by incorporating whole body movement with breath and awareness.
All sessions are specifically designed to develop strength, flexibility, and balance for all ages and fitness levels.
We understand that adapting new exercise methods can be challenging. Our goal is to help create a connection between the responsiveness of your core to the sculpting of your limbs. Practice mindful movement and strengthen from within.
Evolve Pilates aims to succeed by offering a safe, yet challenging approach to movement. Our original, cutting-edge classes are taught on unique equipment with exceptional instruction from PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) certified instructors.
4 pp maximum
Reformer Mix incorporates the Reformer with the Pilates Springboard and the Bohdi Suspension System, the first 4-pt suspension system designed for fitness. Some extras may be used throughout class such as light weights, resistance bands, and various balls.
RPM is an advanced, athletic class that keeps the body moving and muscles challenged. The Pilates Jumpboard is often used for maximum calorie burn. This class is recommended for those with prior Pilates and/or exercise experience.
This 45 minute class is a condensed version of the Reformer Mix class. Don't let the shorter time fool you, be ready to move and stretch!
Xpress Reformer offers 3 levels: Level I/Intro, Level I/II (Beginner/Intermediate), and Level II (Intermediate/Advanced).
“Pilates personal training” sessions are available upon request. Each, one on one session, is customized to fit the clients’ specific goals and requests.
Semi-Privates are a great way to work out with your BFF, significant other, or family member in a private setting. Each session is specifically designed to cater to the clients' needs.

Hi, my name is Diana Legel and I truly enjoy sharing my love for movement. Pilates has been an important part of my life for over 15 years. In 2002, I was diagnosed with a very large, benign tumor in my abdomen and had to undergo major surgery to remove the mass, as well as a partial hysterectomy. After gaining nearly 25 lbs during the following year and battling depression, I had lost almost all hope for ever being happy and healthy again. My outlook took a significant turn when my dear friend and mentor shared this amazing, life-changing system of movement with me in 2003. I was instantly hooked!
After practicing for about 6 months, I decided to share the love and became certified. I attended The Pilates Institute of Birmingham and went on to become PMA (Pilates Method Alliance) certified in 2006. I've taught at Townsend Pilates Studio for several years and went on to assist in opening 2 other successful Pilates studios, Pure Element Pilates in West Bloomfield, MI and EnCore Pilates in Clarkston, MI. Other studios I've practiced and taught over the years include Body Pure, Beverly Hills Club, and Franklin Athletic Club, where I also taught Barre. I greatly enjoy attending different conferences every year to stay current with my certification and continue learning. One of the many things I love about Pilates is one can never plateau. The body is an incredible vessel and when treated with love, can amaze you with what it can accomplish, at any age! I am living proof :)
